The Pink Pumpkin Patch Foundation would like to formally congratulate Executive Director Zigang Dong, M.D., Dr. P.H. and Gail Dennison, Director of Public Relations and Development on behalf of “Paint the Town Pink” for The Hormel Institute on being chosen as the 2017 recipient of our $15,000 breast cancer research grant. The foundations selection committee carefully reviewed all applications and concluded that the monies collected by the foundation would have the most impact by funding the team at The Hormel Institute for a second year. We applaud their dedication in breast cancer research and are thrilled to contribute to their search in finding a cure for breast cancer.
“We would like to thank all of our generous pink pumpkin growers and public that donated to the foundation for the 2016 growing season. By working together, your donations can make a difference.”
“Thank you for the significant $15,000 given last year for the first time to “Paint the Town Pink” for The Hormel Institute – as always with every donation here, 100% goes to research, NONE to administrative costs.”
