Excerpt: “Efforts to gain attention for breast cancer research have included pink ribbons, pink hats and famous buildings bathed in pink light.  Now America’s pumpkin growers are getting in on the act with pink pumpkins. The effort got its first steps last year according to Don Wertman, chief operating officer of Seedway Seeds and board member of the Pink Pumpkin Patch Foundation. “We found a pumpkin that throws a pink fruit, and it just was a natural to utilize for this cause,” Wertman said in an exclusive interview with AgriTalk Radio host Mike Adams.”
